There is a single unit managing both the teaching activities and patient care. In addition to the faculty, there are 2 Registrar posts and 3 House Officers post in Ophthalmology. The Ophthalmology department of the HBT Trauma Hospital, Jogeshwari west is a sub-center under our department with a house officer in ophthalmology posted there permanently.

There is a single unit managing both the teaching activities and patient care. And addition to the faculty, there are 2 Registrar posts and 2 House Officers post in Ophthalmology. The Ophthal dept of the HBT Trauma Hospital, Jogeshwari west is a sub-centre under our department with a house officer in ophthalmology posted there permanently.OPD / Dept timings –
- Dept – Official duty hours are from 9am to 4pm
- OPD : Tuesday / Thursday/ Saturday (9:00am -1:00pm)
- OT : Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday (starting from 8:30am)
Facilities and Special services –
Other than routine Ophthalmological services like cataract and lasers, our department also has specialized instruments for evaluation and management of various sub-specialities of ophthalmology like glaucoma, squint, pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, uveitis, corneal transplant, eye donation services, oculoplasty and vitreo-retinal surgeries.Guidelines/ instructions for patients for OPD’s / Investigations etc. –
