  • Two programs were organized under the aegis of Bioethics with the themes “End of Life Issues” and “Human Dignity & Human Rights”
  • ‘Good Clinical Practice’ training workshop was conducted for the faculty of and outside the institute.

ACADEMIC :

  • To teach the undergraduate students with novel interactive teaching-learning methods
  • To inculcate the soft skills in students by introducing symposiums in groups and debates
  • To introduce the concept of research in the undergraduate students and involve them in various short research projects

PATIENT CARE :

  • PHARMACOVIGILANCE
    • To sensitize the faculty of the institution and physicians in general about the importance of identifying and reporting adverse drug reactions
  • BIOETHICS UNIT :
    • To arrange various programmes for faculty, students and allied healthcare professionals regarding the bioethical principles as defined by UNESCO.
  • DRUG INFORMATION DESK
    • To establish the drug information desk for patients for the better understanding of the prescription.
    • To assist and educate patients and community about the misuse of overuse of drugs
